Airflow Resistance on Kapal Cepat Rudal

In the ship resistance test, data collection is based on the amount of pressure caused by the fluid to the ship's hull. Because air resistance is very small, it is neglected in some cases. However, in actual conditions, wind speed can affect the flow of sea water and provide greater air resistance. So the value of the ship's resistance in actual conditions will be greater than the resistance test in the towing tank. Therefore, I simulated and increased the air velocity in the direction of the ship's motion in various draft conditions. From the simulation results, it can be concluded that the air flow velocity has an effect when the ship's draft value is low, which causes the ship to experience a higher lift force.
